Family Reunion in Manti

Last week, Josh's dad's side of the family had a reunion in Manti. It was a lot of fun. On Friday, all of the adults did a session in the temple, which was awesome and then Friday night we went to the pageant. It was really good. We had some crazies that made the pageant a little hard to watch...
I actually ended up standing in the parking lot for a lot of the pageant because Ali would not settle down and go to sleep. Isn't the Manti temple beautiful? It really is my favorite. I always wanted to get married there but a 4 hour one way drive on your wedding day isn't too practical!

After the reunion was over on Saturday , our little family and Josh's sister Brandy's family went into the Manti mountains and went camping. We went fishing in a little lake and rode our ATV around. It was so fun. My kids have never been dirtier in their lives! Me and Brandy had a bet to see how long it would take Daxton to fall in the lake... and sure enough he did! Good thing Brandy was standing right there to pull him out!

Josh caught a fish and the kids were so excited. On one of them, Daxton actually held the fish and put it back in the lake!

On Sunday, Brandy and her family went home so it was just our family and it was nice to be in the mountains away from everything. We could focus on just us... no distractions... no phones, JUST US. It was great.
